About Us
KVK, Vaishali was established on 8th March 1997 by ICAR under Administrative control of the then Rajendra Agricultural University Pusa, now which is Dr Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University Pusa (DRPCAU Pusa). KVK was established with aim for overall development of farmer and dissemination of the latest agricultural know-how to the farmers. KVK is situated near by National Highway – 22 (Hajipur-Muzaffarpur). KVK is well connected with road, railway and nearby Airport in Patna.
Training to the farmers and extension personal to update their knowledge in agriculture technology especially in, Mushroom Production, Banana Fiber Extraction & Processing, Bee Keeping, Quail Farming, and Nursery Management is carried out by Subject Matter Specialist (SMS). Skill development training to rural youth is also among the facilities available
