| 1 | Khet Bachao Abhiyan june 2026 | An awareness programme on “Efficient and Balanced Use of Fertilizers” was organized on 1 June 2026 at Mukundpur village, Rajapakar block under the leadership of Dr. Anil Kumar Singh, Senior Scientist & Head, RPCAU-KVK Vaishali, marking the launch of the month-long Khet Bachao Abhiyan (1–30 June 2026). The campaign aims to promote balanced fertilizer use, soil health management, and natural farming practices among farmers. During the programme, Dr. Sudarshan Prasad Lal and Dr. Kaushal Kishore, Scientists from RPCAU, Pusa, delivered technical sessions on balanced fertilization and organic farming, while Kumari Namrata, Scientist (Agricultural Engineering), KVK Vaishali, highlighted the benefits of Direct Seeded Rice (DSR) technology. Scientists also interacted with farmers during field visits and provided technical guidance. Progressive farmer Shri Satyendra Kumar Sahni shared his experience of natural farming and reported earning approximately ₹1 lakh net income annually from one acre of vegetable cultivation. | 2026-06-01 |
